Born: Trieste, Italy, lived in New Zealand from 1948-72. Since 1973 she lives in Sydney and works from her own studio-workshop in Kareela.

Education: Diploma in Fine Art Canterbury School of Art, Christchurch, New Zealand1957 - 1960; Post Grad Printmaking, Wellington Polytechnic, New Zealand, 1967 – 1969; Diploma in Teaching, New Zealand, 1972; Research Study, Italy and France, Atelier de Seguret, Vaison-la-Romaine , France, 1998; MFA, College of Fine Art (COFA) at the University of New South Wales, 2001.

Initially a painter, since her first exhibition in 1968 she also works with etching, collographs, photopolymer intaglio and mixed media.

Well respected in the field of printmaking she has taught and exhibited extensively in Australia and New Zealand.

Group exhibitions include Australian and overseas exhibitions with the Sydney Printmakers and Print Circle; Bett Duncan Gallery, Wellington, New Zealand; Kudos Gallery, Sydney; Ivan Dougherty Gallery, Sydney; Quadrivium, Sydney; Southern Sydney Arts School; Hazelhurst; Berrima; Drummoyne; Q Gallery, Sydney; Printers Gallery, Sydney; the 24^th Annual Shell Freemantle Print Award, WA.

Memberships: Sydney Printmakers (President, 1994 – 1995, Secretary 2001 - 2001); Southern Printmakers Association (President, 1984 – 1985); Print Circle (President 1994 – 1995).

Since 1996 her work has focused on themes of identity, dislocation and journeys. Most recently she has aimed to capture the essence of the Australian landscape with a series of mixed media works in which painted and carved panels are combined with printed images on paper.
