Education: 1961-1965: Studied Art and Education at the National Art School, East Sydney Technical College, and Sydney Teachers’ College.

!992: completed a Master of Art Education Degree at College of Fine Arts, UNSW.

2006: Working since 1994 as a Visual Arts teacher at Loreto Kirribilli, Senior School. 

Areas of Specialisation: As a printmaker my area of special interest is in silk screen printing on paper. I have employed both oil based and water based techniques in my screen prints. In recent work I have often combined screen printing with other elements such as collage and blind embossing and created unique-state monotypes.

Exhibitions: Contributed to numerous Group Exhibitions, including at Workshop Arts Centre, Kirribilli Neighborhood Centre, Quay Gallery, Willoughby Art Show, Sutherland Art Show, Mosman Art Show.

Since 1989, I have exhibited regularly with the Print Circle.

Artist’s Statement: In my art making practice the layered process of screen printing reflects the emergence of ideas, gradually revealed as images on paper. The repetition of multiple images is also part of the fascination of printmaking as my chosen medium of expression.

Themes I have explored in my prints include memory of place; identity; family; women; text.
